Incredibly fast and completely mobile, the portable ScanSnap iX100 makes it quick and easy to capture documents in the office, at home or on the go. Its compact and lightweight body houses an A4 document feeder, a GI processor for optimized capture and Wi-Fi or USB connectivity to share and synchronize your documents anywhere, anytime. The iX100 offers unrivaled productivity thanks to its range of functions incorporated in a robust case weighing just 400g which integrates discreetly with your other peripherals. Its lithium-ion battery power can provide more than 260 scans on a single full charge.

The iX100 is an ideal solution for capturing documents at the ad hoc moment or at regular intervals in many environments, then storing them locally or transferring them to a colleague, workflow, cloud service or application. Business cards, receipts, bank statements, contracts, delivery notes, handwritten notes, newspaper articles, postcards, even A3 documents, the iX100 can comfortably handle a wide range of document types. Scan instantly at the touch of a button and optimize the performance of your daily routines. For double-sided business cards, receipts and documents, the convenient continuous feed mode lets you insert pages one by one by detecting when an item enters and exits the iX100 and creating images of single page accordingly.

Document scanning for easy, unrivaled productivity
The iX100 has been specially designed for the user, taking into account time and space constraints but also promoting instant access and availability of information. With the iX100's choice of multiple paper feeds, you can select the one best suited for scanning thicker documents such as postcards, business cards or other card types (up to 209 g/ m²). Use the U-guide to capture documents up to 80 gsm as well as scanning in areas where space is limited or is a concern.
Scanning a double-sided document using the CCD function
When scanning multiple small documents, the iX100 saves you time by simultaneously scanning two or more items such as business cards or receipts with just 10mm of space between them. Separate images that are displayed are automatically rotated, aligned and cropped regardless of how the original documents enter the scanner feeder. Documents larger than A4 can be scanned without additional effort using the intuitive “Auto Rebuild” function. An A3 document with graphics scattered across both halves can be folded in half for scanning
each half successively. Either ScanSnap Manager automatically detects the reconstruction template during scanning, or the ScanSnap Organizer software allows you to reconstruct it manually after scanning, especially if your A3 document is text-based.
Fragile documents or photos can also be scanned using an optional backing sheet for even more protection.
Other image optimization and automatic correction features include blank page removal and color detection. These functions of the iX100
are specially designed to achieve optimal results the first time and minimize user intervention before, during and after the scanning process.

Once you capture the scanned image, the ScanSnap Manager software opens Quick Menu, which is suitable for both beginners and experienced users. Simply choose what you want to do with the scanned data:
- Scan and create editable Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint files using the original included ABBYY FineReader software. No more wasting time retyping a document
- or a text spreadsheet; you can simply scan it and then convert it directly into your favorite desktop application.
- Automatically create searchable PDF files to more easily extract and manage your scanned data.
- For efficient and productive work routines, scan directly to a printer, email or folder.
- The included CardMinder software lets you efficiently organize your business cards, from a single card from a recent meeting to a stack collected at a trade show. Simply scan them, then use OCR software to capture predetermined information and instantly transfer it to Excel or Outlook.
