RAID 1 (mirrored) - Copies your data exactly across both drives to provide data redundancy, so your data will be safely backed up if one drive fails. SPAN (big) - Combines both drives into a single array to increase the size of your volume storage capacity to the combined total of both drives. JBOD (Just a bunch of disks) - Exposes both drives as individual devices to be treated independently. ASM1062R for Deliver SATA 6Gbps Performance on 2 PortsFeaturing the ASM1062R controller, this SATA card allows the connection of two high-performance SATA 6Gbps drives with a combined total throughput of up to 8Gbps. The SATA drives are connected via two individual SATA ports located on the card (SATA cables are sold separately).Wide CompatibilityThe controller card is widely supported on all popular operating system platforms, including Windows (7, 8, 10, 11), macOS (10.10 and later), and Linux (2.6.32 and later).
