Connected Device Transparency with MAC Address ChangerThe DK30C2DPPDUE includes a free Windows application that helps you better manage your corporate network security. When you connect to your network through the docking station's Ethernet port; the computer's MAC address is typically not broadcast to the network because your network only sees the PC dock's MAC address. However, cloning software or MAC address changer allows the USB-C docking station to use the MAC address of the connected Windows laptop instead of the dock's MAC address. This gives your network administrators full visibility into every device on the network and can monitor and limit activity accordingly.
