SATA Hard Drive Docking Station, USB 3.0 Hard Drive Dock (5Gbps)The SDOCKU33BV UASP-enabled USB 3.0 docking station lets you easily connect and swap 2.5-inch or 3.5-inch SATA III HDDs and SSDs through an available USB port. The docking station provides up to 70% faster speeds than traditional USB 3.0 when used with a UASP-enabled host controller to unlock the full potential of your SATA III hard drives. With support for SATA I/II/III high-capacity drives (tested up to 4TB) and 2.5-inch or 3.5-inch hard drives, this HDD/SSD docking station is compatible with almost any SATA hard drive. Additionally, it greatly increases the storage/backup capabilities of your computer. The utility of this hard drive docking station can be expanded with our SATA to IDE hard drive adapter (SAT2IDEADP), which allows you to use any 2.5 or 3.5 inch IDE hard drive in a SATA hard drive docking station. Testing shows that UASP support provides 70% faster read speeds and 40% faster write speeds than traditional USB 3.0 at maximum capacity. Under the same conditions, UASP shows an 80% reduction in CPU requirements.
