The SDOCK4U33 2.5/3.5 inch SATA HDD/SSD Docking Station allows you to simultaneously plug and swap drives from your PC or laptop using a single USB port.
Get the most out of your SATA III (Gbps) solid-state and hybrid drives with this enhanced docking station for USB Attached SCSI Protocol (UASP) hard drives. With up to 70% faster performance than traditional USB 3.0 when paired with a UASP host controller, UASP ensures high performance with reduced slowdowns. This hard drive docking station features independently powered SATA connectors for each drive so you can use each drive separately. This way of doing things gives you the freedom to hot swap a drive while transferring data to another drive, saving you a lot of time.
Additionally, built-in fans keep your drives running cool, ensuring optimal performance and preventing premature drive failure.
The usefulness of this hard drive docking station can be increased with our SATA to IDE hard drive adapter (SAT2IDEADP), which allows you to use any 2.5 or 3.5 inch IDE hard drive in a dock SATA hard drive docking station.
To ensure compatibility with your computer system, the SDOCK4U33 model supports major operating systems, including Microsoft Windows© (8/7/Vista/XP/Server 2008/Server 2003), Apple© OSX (10.9/10.8/ 10.7/10.6), Linux and Google Chrome OS™.

Improved yield with UASP
UASP is supported in Windows 8, Mac OSX (10.8 or later), and Linux. Testing demonstrates that UASP support yields 70% faster read speed and 40% faster write speed than traditional USB 3.0 at maximum capacity.
Under the same conditions, UASP shows an 80% reduction in processor resource requirements.
Testing was performed using an Intel© Ivy Bridge system, a StarTech.com enclosure with UASP, and a SATA III solid state drive.
